VerifyTenant offers screening packages starting at $20 for a one-time charge. No monthly fees or minimums. Member packages with credit reports start at $30 per report. You can also order individual services a la carte.

No. Non-credit products like criminal background checks, eviction reports, and sex offender searches can be ordered directly through the website without a membership. Credit reports require membership due to TransUnion regulations.

Most products deliver instant results. Some reports may trigger a manual review, which is completed within 24 hours. Credit reports for members are also delivered instantly.

Yes. VerifyTenant adheres to 100% FCRA compliance. We provide adverse action letter templates, dispute forms, and full compliance support. All members receive FCRA training materials.

Member credit reports include credit history, credit score, SSN verification, current and previous addresses, employer history, liens, collections, civil judgments, bankruptcies, and credit grantor information with ratings. All credit data is powered by TransUnion.

Yes. We offer international background checks with pricing that varies by nationality. We also provide Canadian criminal and credit consent forms, as well as South American and Brazilian criminal check forms. Visit our Resources page for downloadable consent forms.

Our National Criminal Record search covers all 50 states and includes criminal records, sex offender registries, and terrorist watchlist screening through OFAC. Results include name, known aliases, date of birth, residential addresses, conviction locations, and offense details.

No. Federal law (FCRA) requires written consent from the applicant before running any screening. VerifyTenant provides authorization forms you can use. Visit our Resources page to download the Tenant Authorization and Release Form.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. Payment is processed securely through Authorize.net. There are no recurring charges unless you set up a membership.

If you decide to deny a rental application based on screening results, you are legally required to send an Adverse Action Letter to the applicant. VerifyTenant provides a template on our Resources page. The letter must include the name and address of the screening company and inform the applicant of their right to dispute.
